Plank (forearm or full): Core stabilization in a neutral spine position is safe and builds the endurance of spinal stabilizers without flexion stress. Focus on maintaining a flat back — don’t allow sagging or rounding.

Supported squats and leg press: Load the spine through axial compression in a neutral position — beneficial for vertebral bone density without excessive flexion or rotation risk.

Seated or standing rows: Upper back strengthening in a neutral spine position supports thoracic posture and loads thoracic vertebrae through extension rather than flexion.
